Sue Doran is an Honours Bachelor of Music (Performance) graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University. She also received advanced musical training at the Eastman School of Music and Chautauqua (New York), Aldeburgh (England), and Geneva (Switzerland).

A versatile and engaging recitalist and concert soloist, Sue has been heard in performance across Canada, the USA and Europe, in repertoire ranging through early Baroque masterworks, oratorio, intimate art song and lieder, and popular gems of musical theatre.

She has delighted many Canadian audiences, including those of the Ottawa Choral Society, Montreal's St. Lawrence Choir, the London Fanshawe Choir, the Amadeus Choir of Toronto, Halifax Camerata Singers, Symphony Nova Scotia, Orchestra London, the Guelph Chamber Singers and the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony.

She is also a vocal coach with the Guelph Youth Singers, and a valued sectional coach and regular soloist with the Senior Choir of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Kitchener.

In April 2008, she warmed the hearts of K-W listeners with a memorably titled solo recital, "It's Time for Me to do This." Her 2009-2010 plans include another local recital program, as well as professional appearances in Canada, the USA, and Germany.

In 2010 my performances have included recitals at Erskine College, South Carolina and a recital in Ottawa. On October 22, 2010  I will be giving a recital at St. John the Evangelist, Waterloo.
