Lorin Shalanko is a well-known and highly respected musician, teacher and accompanist in the Region of Kitchener-Waterloo. He is an honours graduate in Piano Performance from Wilfred Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario Canada.

He also studied Accompanying and Chamber Music at The University of Michigan, Ann Arbour under the instruction of Martin Katz.

Lorin has perfromed and worked in Canada, the United States and Europe for a number of choirs, singers, instrumetalist and dance companies. He is presently an Accompanist at Wilfred Laurier University and Conrad Grebel College at the University of Waterloo. He also teaches privately at the Beckett School of Music in Kitchener.
