Larry is a native of Kitchener.  He received his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the University of Western Ontario.  He then went on to earn a Master of Music as a woodwind specialist  from Michigan State University.  Larry taught high school music for 25 years.  Now retired he teaches woodwinds (flute, sax, clarinet, bassoon and oboe) privately and performs in various groups including Wellington Winds, the Guelph Symphony Orchestra and the Royal City Saxophone Quartet.

Larry began teaching at the Beckett school in 2003 and has students of all ages.
