Dorion Carmichael
Dorion performs as a soloist and chamber musician and is also a clinician and adjudicator. She was adjunct professor of piano at Wilfrid Laurier University for many years and has taught over 20 years at the Beckett School. Her students have received distinction on Royal Conservatory of Music exams, including the gold medal for the highest RCM mark in Ontario. In addition they have received scholarships at the K-W Kiwanis music festival and university music programs, awards for Chopin interpretation and have also won the K-W Chamber Orchestra's concerto competition. She teaches beginners, both children and adults to performance diploma's.
