Sangmi (Victoria) Lee
Sangmi (Victoria) Lee is an experienced performer, piano instructor, and music therapist. She studied piano performance at Ewha Womans University and Seoul Arts High School in Seoul, South Korea with professor, Minja Shin. At Ewha Womans University she received one of the top piano class awards, received an honour student scholarship, and was selected as a performer for the Ewha Music Festival three years in a row.
Sangmi (Victoria) recently completed a Masters of Music Therapy degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, completing clinical internships with a variety of client populations such as children with autism, children and adults with developmental delays, dementia, and traumatic brain injury. Through her extensive travel and personal experiences living in different parts of the world, including Asia, North America, and the Middle East, Sangmi (Victoria) has a high level of multicultural awareness that benefits both her teaching and her clinical music therapy practice, working with clients and students from different cultural backgrounds.
Sangmi (Victoria) also has experience in early childhood education and is comfortable teaching students at all levels, ages, and musical interests. Sangmi (Victoria) is currently the accompanist for the Bridge to Music Program through the KW Symphony Orchestra.
